for once a serious post, heh. =/
today, steve irwin died of a stingray barb through the heart. when i read it, i was like, whoa that sucks, but. he's just a random celebrity. i mean, a famous guy dies, and it sucks that he went like that and at such a young age too. with 2 children to raise. but he was just this dude.
then another incident happened. which i won't mention. but which made me realise that death isn't partial to anyone when claiming them. you always think, "oh, it can't be me, or anyone that i know". but irwin's family and friends probably thought that too. and so did those of that person.
he could have been someone that i knew. i found out that it wasn't, but... it's still rather sobering. for a moment i thought i knew him. and i was relieved when i found out he wasn't the same person i knew. but to his family, they might have wished that it was true, that he wasn't the one who had been taken.
i was supposed to be doing math, but i kinda have no mood anymore. it's stuff like this that hits home the fact that you, or someone you love, could be the next one to disappear suddenly.
>_<.
RIP steve irwin, and said other person.
