i think it's true that most of the time, what you vow not to be will eventually turn out to be your future self. you go, "nah, that guy is so annoying, i'll never be like him. what a loser. ew." but by being that way, and bitching about him or whatever, i'm just taking his worst traits and putting them in myself. i tell myself not to be like a certain two people, but i realise that lately i've been just a total bastard and probably i'll lose all my friends again if i continue like this i guess.
i told myself time and again, to change and not be like my old self, that i've learnt a lesson and so on. everytime i do that, i might change for a while and then sooner or later i just turn back into a horrible person again. so does it mean as long as i keep thinking really badly of people, i'll just turn into another version of them?
on a kind of offtopic note, this is a lot like what happens to shun in gatekeepers i guess.
yay, i'll probably have people bashing me for being an emokid again. whoop dee doo.
now feels like a good time to quote song lyrics but i'm getting a "i'm turning into bryan" feeling so this post shall be free of it.
