it's so ironic to say "i like being antisocial"
then in the next breath "i'm not going haven because i hate going alone"
so anyone want to buy my two tickets/go with me? if hern doesn't want to buy. 5th aug 7.30pm.
shrug.
togetherness was never meant to be
zomg emo.
still, it's nice in a weird masochistic way. i like being antisocial and feeling unwanted. >_>
Inside, what a wonderful caricature of intimacy
Inside, what a wonderful caricature of intimacy
Raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses
It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses
At the shade of the sheets and before all the stains
And a few more of your least favorite things.
had been thinking about this sometime before, but something brought it back.
what's so special about a birthday, really? there's nothing to get so excited about.
sure, it's nice to get presents, perhaps get cards and wishes, but overall it's just a day like any other. 5/7 chances are that school's still on if it's during termtime, there's nothing special like a holiday declared so you can enjoy it.
in short, society doesn't really give a damn about birthdays.
and if you want to argue that it's special because it's the day you were born, it just begs me to ask what's so special about YOU that makes your birth day special. thousands or perhaps millions of people were born on that exact day so... wow, big freaking deal? i don't see how you might in any way be better than the chinese teenager who is now helping his dad in the fields, or the american guy who is taking drugs, or the brilliant european prodigy who is wowing his town with his genius.
i guess it's all a personal issue eh?
birthdays suck. but at least you can get stuff you want.
how materialistic.
edit: this wasn't targeted at anyone.
