ooh now i may be "charged for libel". yeah yeah go ahead, i'm sure my comment was way more hurtful than your equivalent of name calling just because i used a profanity. :D
random thought about profanity anyway. i don't see why people get so riled when you use it as an expletive. there's no malicious intent behind it anyway. it's just something you say on the spur on the moment. and replacing f you with like. er. cheese you doesn't make it worse when insulting someone, because for you "cheese" has the exact same meaning as f. a rose by any other name smells as sweet or whatever. i'd choose to think that its not the word which carries the intent, its how you use it. even if you want to argue that certain words (like damn, for example) have a meaning and therefore it's bad all the time, i'd use the point that english isn't universal and that saying damn you to like a random mexican guy who doesn't know english isn't an insult to him. it's just a funny sound.
of course i guess my logic is easily refuted but meh. using f doesn't necessarily make you bad you know. after all, darn/crap/blahblah are all euphemisms. it doesn't mean they're less "bad" words.
